The She Kicks Locker Room: Car Quiz With Bri Westrup

Sunderland’s California-born centre-back, a Scotland international and former Rangers captain, has no car in the UK but a red Jeep Wrangler waiting at home. Bri Westrup’s dad retired while she was in elementary school and drove her everywhere; she has driven on the left exactly once, in a friend’s car, and hopes it is not that bad. As a footballer the Jeep would be stocky and strong with a bit of flair. She has had two personalised plates, CROCKERS after a childhood nickname and BriWesty since. A football, cones, a jumper, boots and a great many empty water bottles live in the car. She likes the Pacific Coast Highway and the drive up to Scotland, and nominates carpool jam buddy Megan Beer.
