The She Kicks Locker Room: Captain’s Chat with Holly Morgan (Leicester City)

Leicester City’s captain has been a Fox since she was eleven, is the club’s longest-serving player, and signed professional terms at the start of a season in which they turned full-time and pushed for the Championship title. She is also a qualified solicitor. As a captain she tries to listen, keep the peace and build a relationship with each player one to one, and says she has grown quieter and more observant with time, glad to see others take on leadership. Her proudest moment is winning all 22 games to go up in 2015-16, a season she found hard. She would tell her younger self not to be so serious, and she is firm that her brother Jonathan was not the manager when she was given the armband.
