SWPL Players of the Month

January’s SWPL and SWPL 2 Players of the Month, held over after narrowly missing the previous issue’s print deadline. Rangers full-back Eilidh Austin takes the top-flight award, the 20-year-old providing an assist in a 2-1 win over champions Hibernian before helping Leanne Crichton’s side earn a late point at leaders Glasgow City. In SWPL 2, Kilmarnock midfielder Abby Robinson wins for a second time after November’s award, the 27-year-old scoring a hat-trick against Stirling University in a month that saw the Ayrshire side extend an unbeaten record across the whole season so far, central to their promotion challenge.
