SWPL Fast Fives: London Pollard

By mid-March, Montrose led SWPL 2 by nine points, and a large part of that was the scoring form of Scotland Under-20 striker London Pollard. Born in Antwerp and already carrying a long list of clubs, she says it looks as though she is a team-hopper but that she was only ever looking for playing time, which Craig Feroz has given her. She wants back-to-back promotions and to put Montrose on the map in the top tier. She wears 30 because she has worn every random number going and split the difference, names speed and attacking judgement as her strengths, and says playing for Scotland is her greatest achievement. Aimee Ridgeway makes the bus TikToks; Pollard admits she is the most forgetful in the squad.
