Striking For Spain (Natalia Pablos Sanchon interview)
She Kicks, issue 28, June 2015 p.27
Arsenal’s Spanish forward Natalia Pablos Sanchon previews Spain’s first ever World Cup finals. She is feeling well, having played around eight games in different competitions with Arsenal and being mid-season with plenty of energy. Spain surprised people at Euro 2013, she says, and after long hard work the team is stronger now and ready to compete in Canada. Their strength is possession: if they keep the ball for most of the game it becomes easier for them. They will travel without pressure and therefore without limits, aiming first to qualify from the group and then to compete against anyone. Her essential packing item is an iPad loaded with television series in English and Spanish, three of each, and she names Jenni Hermoso as the squad joker.
