Interview
Star Six with Leah Williamson
She Kicks, issue 61, June 2020 pp.58–59
An instalment of Star Six, in which eight-year-old James Manning, who plays for Bedwell Rangers Cruzeiro Under-8s and has held an Arsenal Women season ticket for over four years, put six questions to Leah Williamson. She calls herself a Gunner through and through but will never say never about playing abroad, always wears the same socks under her football socks even though it adds half a size to her boots, and listens to Sigma’s Nobody to Love before a game. Her England debut is her proudest moment and winning the Women’s FA Cup at Wembley alongside her heroes her favourite memory. She is firmly sweet, loving chocolate and Skittles, and relaxes at concerts and the cinema. A factfile records her Arsenal debut in 2014, a 100th appearance in January 2019 and an England debut as substitute for Keira Walsh.
