#SKFansForum: Favourite Memories of 2016 and Hopes for 2017
She Kicks, issue 39, January 2017 pp.29–31
She Kicks asks readers on Twitter for their favourite football memory of 2016 and what they look forward to in 2017, and gives three pages to the replies. Supporters name the Wembley cup final, London Bees knocking Chelsea out of the Continental Cup, Hibernian’s cup double and Lizzie Arnot’s reaction, Yeovil Town winning WSL 2, Middlesbrough’s promotion, and the GB deaf women’s World Cup bronze with the Deaflympics ahead. Others recall personal moments: a daughter’s debut at The Den, a first Lionesses match, a birthday in Serbia and a match shirt from Jill Scott, a notebook dropped onto the pitch at Watford. Almost everyone names Euro 2017 as what they await.
