SK Locker Room Kit Check: Emily Scarr

The Locker Room kit feature, with the Sunderland forward who was the club’s top scorer and Player of the Year last season and signed her first full-time contract in the summer, three years after arriving from Middlesbrough. Scarr’s first boots were yellow Adidas that looked like bananas on her feet; she has worn Nike Mercurials for years since and owns around a dozen pairs of boots and trainers. Her first football shirt was a Fernando Torres Liverpool one despite not supporting the club, and her favourite a white Real Madrid shirt with Ronaldo on the back. Home shirts are auctioned at season’s end, so she gave her one kept away shirt to a young player.
