SK Awards: Yeovil Town LFC — The Glovers

Long-serving Yeovil Town players Rachael Edwards and Stacey Pearson hand out character awards across the squad during the long build-up to FA WSL 2. Edwards takes most superstitious, laying out clothes in the same order and eating the same before every game. Kirsty Whitton is the fans’ favourite, coaching Somerset FA’s under-9s who idolise her. New Welsh under-19 goalkeeper Alice Evans has the longest kick, Shannon Osman is clumsiest, and Kayleigh Sage’s strike against Brighton won a fan-voted goal of the season. Laura Wensley, a fourth dan black belt, is strongest woman despite breaking her leg in January. Justine Lorton takes ultimate tekkers, biggest diva and always moaning; Beth Howard is brainiac from a New Jersey scholarship; club captain Emma Brazell and assistant manager Chris White share unsung hero.
