A page of shorter news items. Under the #SheKicksBack banner the magazine reports hosting a sold-out legends evening in London on 14 September with WoSo Zone, sponsored by DNSUK, featuring Pauline Boanas and Kelly Smith MBE as guests alongside Jacqui Oatley, with Casey Stoney unable to attend because of England commitments. A second item records that Millwall Lionesses and England Under-19 defender Jordan Butler is out for the rest of the season with a potentially career-ending injury sustained at the beginning of August while trying to intercept a pass, an MRI scan having confirmed significant damage to her anterior cruciate ligament, posterior cruciate ligament and meniscus cartilage. A third notes the launch of the Welsh Premier Women’s League season in Aberystwyth, with secretary Gwyn Derfel anticipating another competitive campaign.
