She Tweets: Black Cat Beth (Beth Mead)

She Kicks, issue 28, June 2015 p.11

Sunderland striker Beth Mead, joint top scorer in WSL 1 at the mid-season break, answers She Kicks over Twitter. She is loving life in the top flight, calling it a complete change from WSL 2, and admits that while she wanted goals she did not expect this many. Her celebrations are tame, she concedes, apart from a Torvill and Dean routine with Kelly McDougall, and she asks readers for suggestions. The biggest benefit of being a full-time professional, she says, is having healthy food cooked for her. She names Victoria Williams as the squad’s queen of banter, has not started her World Cup sticker book, and confirms that a place in the England senior side before the next World Cup is her main aim. Her puppy Rolo, she promises, will keep appearing.
