She Tweets: Anita Asante
She Kicks, issue SK13, April 2013 p.33
A ten-question Twitter exchange between She Kicks and Anita Asante, tweeting as NicenNeetz, conducted after the Cyprus Cup as she returned to Kopparbergs/Goteborg and the Damallsvenskan. Asante says the Cyprus win gives the England squad confidence in its ability, tactical knowledge and growth before a massive year. She enjoyed Sweden’s Fotbollsgalan, not least the chance to dress up and gawk at Zlatan, though she needed everything translated. She looks forward to facing Tyreso, Malmo and Linkoping, and to a Euro 2013 made more special by feeling settled in Gothenburg. Asked about literally kicking off the London 2012 Olympics, she promises to make it her CV heading. Karen Bardsley supplies the name of the Funny Movie Maker app, and Asante recommends following her room-mate Yael Averbuch. A fact file lists 61 England caps and one goal.
