She Kicks Issue 15 — Cover: Jordan Nobbs
She Kicks, issue SK15, July 2013 p.1
The July 2013 cover of She Kicks, issue 15, the Euro 2013 special, carries Ranald Mackechnie’s portrait of Arsenal and England midfielder Jordan Nobbs under the strapline #LIONESSES. Nobbs, 20, was England’s most recent senior debutant, having come on against Italy at the Cyprus Cup in March and scored, and had just headed Arsenal’s second in the FA Women’s Cup final. The issue is billed around the European Championship in Sweden, with the England squad Q and A, Alex Scott approaching a hundred caps, and group previews of Spain, Russia and France. Also trailed are the Champions League and FA Cup finals, the winners of the season’s other major cups, FA WSL Opta statistics, and interviews with Siobhan Chamberlain, Natasha Dowie, Suzanne Grant, Rhian Nokes and Nadene Caldwell. Additional design by Neil Shand.
