She Kicks Goal Getter: Beck Was Born to Score (Becky Hill interview)

Sheffield-born Becky Hill scored eighteen goals in fourteen league and cup games in Dronfield Town’s first season in Sheffield and Hallamshire Division 1, in which they finished runners-up, lost only one league game and reached the cup semi-finals. She had played four seasons in centre midfield with a good goal-to-game ratio before manager Chris Sands moved her to striker as soon as she arrived, and neither has looked back: she has finished top scorer in both her seasons at the club. Her best goals came five years earlier at a previous club, when she scored direct from a corner and then from twenty yards with the last kick to win a cup semi-final from a goal down.
