She Kicks Back — Jodie Taylor
She Kicks, issue SK18, December 2013 p.50
A She Kicks Back questionnaire with the Birkenhead-born striker who at 27 has played for almost as many clubs, having debuted for Tranmere Rovers at fifteen and spent four successful years in college soccer at Oregon State before the Australian W-League, the FA WSL and the Damallsvenskan. Jodie Taylor names centre forward her preferred position, supports Liverpool and the Football Ferns, and admired Thierry Henry growing up. Her father played and her twin sister Chelsea was in the same team as a child. She picks winning the FA Women’s Cup final on penalties with Birmingham as her favourite game and college soccer as her best experience, though she enjoys Australia for the lifestyle. She rates movement and runs in behind as her best attribute and recommends team-mate Emma Kete.
