Shanice Shows Her Style and Smile (Shanice van de Sanden interview)

Liverpool’s Dutch winger Shanice van de Sanden explains the lipstick that has caught the eye across the WSL: she started wearing it two years ago after cutting her hair very short, and now paints her nails red too. Her tattoos represent her large family, the countries she has played in, and the line about taking time to laugh. She joined Liverpool to take a step further in her career and says the biggest change has been in mindset – she used to let mistakes get her head down. She rates the WSL above the Eredivisie for speed and physicality, looks forward to facing England, and is delighted to be in FIFA 17 with her lipstick on.
