The Scottish Building Society’s Scottish Women’s Premier League came back with three games a week in places and more live coverage than ever on BBC ALBA, and the magazine prints five photographs from the restart by the SWF photographers at Collarge Images. Rangers’ Lizzie Arnot is thwarted by Glasgow City goalkeeper Lee Alexander; Jo Love scores; Anna Filbey saves for Celtic; Hearts meet Hibernian in the Edinburgh derby; and Hibs’ Colette Cavanagh is pictured against Motherwell. It is a small page that does a specific job in this issue, corroborating from the touchline what Joelle Murray’s column and Lisa Swanson’s interview both argue in words about a Scottish league returning under pressure and under new scrutiny.
