Safe Hands: Lucia Drexel (SF Bichl)

German grassroots goalkeeper Lucia Drexel of SF Bichl answers the Safe Hands questions. Her favourite save came against her former club and rivals with five minutes left at nil-nil, when she somehow stopped a shot with her shoulder and preserved the draw. She knew she would be a keeper when her mother bought her first gloves and she would not take them off; she still has them. She rates reading the forward as her best attribute, describes herself as loud, fearless and fast, and admires Ashlyn Harris for saving the unsaveable. The best and worst of the position, she says, are the same thing: you can be the difference between a win and a loss.
