Robins Relishing Tough Test (Abby Picton interview)

Swindon Town forward Abby Picton looks ahead to the FAWPL Southern Division after a promotion she calls a long time coming, won by a group of players she rates as deserved winners who scored heavily and played well along the way. The club, she says, is really family-orientated, with players and coaches getting on well and spirits always high, which will help in a season they know will be tougher. What excites her is simply that it is a new challenge and exactly what the squad needs. A few players have experience of the level through academy and Centre of Excellence football but the team is young; a couple have left for university and one to have a baby.
