Reid is Ready: Hannah Reid interview (Hibernian goalkeeper)

An interview with Hibernian goalkeeper Hannah Reid, who joined the club aged nine and has spent the last couple of years as understudy to Scotland international Shannon Lynn. With Lynn now at Swedish side Vittsjo GIK, Reid has her chance in the first team and says it feels great after waiting patiently for an opportunity that was always her goal. She credits Lynn with teaching her different techniques and how to be mentally prepared for the senior game, adding that her former rival remains supportive from Sweden. Reid says that having finished runners-up in both the SWPL and the Scottish Cup, only winners are remembered, and the league title is the main aim because it brings Champions League football. She believes the gap to Glasgow City is closing and praises coach Ian McCaldon.
