Asif Burhan interviews the Twente striker who scored 23 Eredivisie goals last season and 39 in all competitions in 2025, fourth highest in the world, though she says she pays statistics little attention. Ravensbergen describes two ACL ruptures, the first at 17, which left her broader and more physical, and taught her the value of warm-ups, correct footwear and strength work. She explains why she extended to 2027 rather than moving abroad: a team playing for prizes, and family able to attend every game. She trained as a primary teacher at ADO Den Haag and hopes to do that later, has a golden retriever named Clover, and awaits a first senior Netherlands call.
