She Kicks, issue SK22, July 2014 p.6
Rachel Brown-Finnis’s column, written as she looks ahead to what she calls a thrilling summer in her role as Sports Industry Liaison at UCFB. She reports waving off the first of the university’s students heading to Orlando City Soccer Club to coach young people, with Sam already running sessions in the Florida sunshine and taking in the local derby between Tampa Bay Rowdies and Orlando City during his time off, and three more students soon to follow on coaching and marketing placements. Burnley goalkeeper and Football Business and Finance student Leah has secured a placement with a private sports agency, working with FIFA licensed agent Hayden Evans researching players ahead of the season. A student who interned with Wembley Stadium’s music and events team has been invited back for a second placement.
