Pet Corner: Makenna Morris

The recurring Pet Corner feature, with the Racing Louisville player and her two-year-old Rottweiler, Bear. Morris grew up with a Rottweiler and Great Dane mix and wrote notes to her parents as a child promising she would one day own a Rottweiler called Bear. He is no footballer, loving fetch without much athleticism; as a player, she says, he is built like a defender, sprints like a winger for about six seconds, then forgets why he was running. He is her happiness at the end of hard days. Teammates’ dogs Baker, Shai and Celo get a shoutout, Maddie Prohaska is the trusted sitter, and cat people are not.
