Pet Corner: Kit Graham

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Kit Graham, currently working through a second ACL comeback, features in this issue’s Pet Corner alongside her miniature dachshund, Coco. Graham describes Coco’s sassy, ball-skilled personality – likening her dribbling to former teammate Gemma Davison – and the comfort the dog has provided through both long injury lay-offs, including staying carefully out from under her feet during crutches-assisted recovery. She also gives a shout-out to Lenna Gunning-Williams’ dog Boo and names Charli Grant as the teammate she would most trust to dog-sit. A warm, personal insight into how Spurs’ long-serving number 16 has leaned on her support network away from football during the toughest stretch of a career interrupted by recurring injury, tying into the club’s own ‘Tottenham Hotspaw’ fan initiative for dog owners.
