Pet Corner: Brogan Hay

Rangers Player of the Year Brogan Hay introduces her Cavapoochon, Woody, for the latest Pet Corner. Hay explains the Toy Story-inspired name, Woody’s habit of comically blocking the ball rather than chasing it at the park, and why she reckons he’d make a tricky midfielder in the mould of teammate Kirsty Maclean, nicknamed ‘Ini’ after Andrés Iniesta. She talks through Woody’s favourite pre-match meal of scrambled egg or chicken, the comfort he provides after a tough day, and which Rangers teammate – fellow dog-owner Rachel McLauchlan – she would trust to look after him. The feature continues the SK Locker Room run of light-hearted, pet-focused profiles alongside the issue’s football-first Q&As.
