Opta’s end-of-season data set breaks the 2018-19 FA Women’s Super League down across eleven measures, correct to 28 May 2019. Chelsea attempted the most shots with 427, but Arsenal converted best, turning 368 attempts into 70 goals at 25.2 per cent, and topped average possession at 61.7. Vivianne Miedema led the scoring charts on 22 ahead of Nikita Parris on 19, and also finished second for assists behind team-mate Beth Mead’s 12. Inessa Kaagman and Lucy Graham were each involved in 53 per cent of their club’s goals. Leighanne Robe made 90 tackles, 36 more than anyone else; Gilly Flaherty led interceptions with 43; and Yeovil’s Megan Walsh made 144 saves. Reading collected the most cards with 24, while Everton lost 14 points from winning positions and Arsenal none.
