NWSL Ready for Kick Off: 2016 Season Preview

The Women’s Soccer Zone podcast previews all ten NWSL clubs ahead of the league’s fourth season, noting that half have British head coaches. Matt Beard inherits a bottom-placed Boston Breakers and has brought Libby Stout and Whitney Engen with him and coaxed Louise Schillgard out of retirement. Rory Dames’ Chicago rely on Sofia Huerta and Rookie of the Year Danielle Colaprico. Randy Waldrum’s Houston add Janine Beckie and Rachel Daly. Champions FC Kansas City still have Becky Sauerbrunn and welcome Desiree Scott back from Notts County. New franchise Orlando Pride, coached by Tom Sermanni, have Alex Morgan and Lianne Sanderson. Portland, Seattle, Sky Blue, Washington and Western New York complete the field.
