Millwall Lionesses: Fast Facts & Ground Grab

After what the page calls a rollercoaster year, the Lionesses are raring to roar. Their 2015-16 Southern Division form ran to three wins, seven draws and eight defeats, eighth on 16 points. Ashlee Hincks top-scored with six in fifteen, ahead of Rinsola Babajide; goalkeeper Sarah Quantrill and Leighanne Robe were the most used. One result in the form string carries an asterisk: the home game with Oxford was postponed by The FA to protect The Den’s pitch before a televised men’s play-off semi-final, could not be rescheduled, and the points went to Oxford. Lee Burch arrived in July 2016 after Rebecca Sawiuk left, bringing a UEFA A Licence, seven years at Southampton’s centre of excellence and nine as an FA Skills coach. Home is St Paul’s Sports Ground.
