Me & My Team — Eleasha & Shannon Hyner, Ridgewaye Girls

Sisters Eleasha and Shannon Hyner introduce Ridgewaye Girls, who play in the under-15 section of the Kent Girls and Ladies Football League alongside eleven other teams from south-east London and Kent, and have won the league twice, the League Cup three times and the Tina Marshall and Tesco Kent Cups in four years. Their father, whom they watched from their pushchairs, is now their coach. Eleasha supports Tottenham, names Aaron Lennon and Eniola Aluko as favourites, plays attacking midfield and is considering PE teaching or sports journalism. Shannon, known as Bam Bam, was persuaded to play to make up the numbers, plays full back and names Steph Houghton. The team is short of a goalkeeper.
