Lucy Bronze, England (poster)
She Kicks, issue 56, October 2019 p.6
A full-page poster marking Lucy Bronze’s UEFA Women’s Player of the Year award for 2018/19, the first time an English player had won it. She is photographed by Lynne Cameron for The FA seated in a red chair in an England training polo, smiling and holding the trophy, with the England crest and the She Kicks device set into the top corner. The award followed a season in which Bronze won a domestic treble with Olympique Lyonnais and the Champions League, then took the Silver Ball at the World Cup in France after scoring in the quarter-final against Norway. The poster sits inside the news pages rather than in the features well, the news round-up picking up again on the page after it.
