Locker Room – Car Quiz: Poppy Bignell

The Locker Room’s Car Quiz features Poppy Bignell, a defender and Sport Management major from Northampton now at Goldey-Beacom College in Delaware. She drives a 2001 VW Jetta, as yet unnamed because the name is an important thing to get right, and reckons that as a player it would be an older one with years left and tricks still up their sleeve. Given a free choice she would take a white Range Rover Sport with a black roof, and her ideal personalised plate would read GB2USA. Boots, balls, a ball pump, a towel and a blanket are the permanent contents. Living five minutes from campus and taking the team bus to games, she estimates only about 45 minutes of driving a day, enjoys American roads apart from manual hill starts, sings along to 1980s and 1990s music, and would take Sir Alex Ferguson along.
