Locker Room – Car Quiz: Kirsty Allen

The Locker Room’s Car Quiz features Derby County attacker Kirsty Allen, formerly of Notts County, who has travelled a long and energy-sapping road back from injury in recent years. She drives a red Mercedes SLK which, unusually for her, has no name, though all her old cars did. Asked what kind of player it would be, she picks Ronaldo, sporty, quick and a Red Devil at heart, and would choose a red Enzo Ferrari given a free hand. Her current personalised plate carries her initials KMA; she would prefer one reading Kirsty but says the letter and number format makes it impossible. Chewing gum, CDs, contact lenses, a blanket and a Derby County Ladies overcoat are always in the car, she spends around six hours a week driving to football, passes the time singing, and would take Jeremy Clarkson along for the voiceover.
