Little Kicks: We Kick! with Liverpool Feds U11s

The junior club slot, in which Liverpool Feds’ Under-11s are quizzed by their own vice-chair and coach. The answers about school are the ones that land. Lexi plays with boys and girls from her class at break and lunch on a field they can use when it is dry, but there are no goals. Asked what they say to anyone claiming girls cannot play football, Maddie offers to hand them a ball and be watched, since she is better than most of the boys in her school, and Ella asks how come there is a women’s football league at all, calling it a bit sexist. Elsewhere their goalkeeper Victory dances and rolls about in training, a shoe is lost mid-session, and the Macarena is the goal celebration. Jessi’s aunt turns out to be the former England international Fern Whelan.
