Little Kicks: Star Six with Ffion Morgan (Crystal Palace and Wales)

Three girls from Baglan Girls in South Wales put six questions to the Crystal Palace and Wales defender their team-mate nominated. Ffion Morgan describes being pulled aside by Jayne Ludlow at an Under-19s camp after a game against Norway and being invited into the senior squad a week later, then ringing her mother Ruth in tears. She ruptured her cruciate ligament four months after her senior debut, at the worst possible moment for a young player, and says it motivated rather than derailed her. She already holds a UEFA B Licence and coaches for Tottenham Hotspur in the community, and wants more women coaching. Her own inspiration was Loren Dykes, who visited her church when she was eight; eight years later they shared a pitch.
