Little Kicks: Readers’ Photos With Their Favourite Players

The readers’ page collects photographs sent in by parents of children meeting their favourite players. Bill thanks West Ham’s Kate Longhurst for a picture with his daughter Tallulah Tillett, who is recovering from a broken arm and itching to get back to training, and Cameron Thomson sends a shot of Emma with her idol Lee Alexander. The page is given over at length to ten-year-old Isabella Toliani, whose father won the September She Kicks boots giveaway with Pro:Direct: she plays for Belstone Girls Under-12s, loves the thrill of a tackle or a run down the wing even when it does not end in a goal, and names Millie Bright as her favourite player because they are both defenders. She hopes to turn professional, and says she will keep playing either way.
