Little Kicks: Readers’ Drawings of Their Favourite Players

She Kicks launches a section for its youngest readers by asking them to draw their favourite players, and prints the results. Hallie Dawson, who is eight, has drawn Jordan Nobbs; Zara Copper, also eight, has produced a shimmeringly happy Steph Houghton; and ten-year-old Josie Bayley, who wants to be an illustrator or a footballer, has drawn two Welsh heroines, Natasha Harding and Jess Fishlock. Josie has been drawing and selling pictures to raise money for a cancer charity and has passed two hundred pounds. Alongside them is a competition to win a set of Girls F.C. books, for readers who would like some football stories that are not entirely about boys.
