Kit Check: Juliette Kemppi

A Kit Check instalment from the SK Locker Room with London City Lionesses forward Juliette Kemppi, a Finland international who was once a world floorball champion with her country. She has always worn Nike Mercurial Vapor boots and has never tried anything else, currently in blue to match the kit, and gets through about three pairs a season. A self-declared shoe lover, she keeps around ten pairs in England and hundreds at home, and passes old boots on to her mother or anyone who needs them. She would kiss Ronaldo’s boots. Kemppi has never collected football shirts, though she swaps kit with friends from the Netherlands and Scotland and gave her Under-20 World Cup shirt to her mother. A sports bra is her one essential beyond boots and shin pads, and she washes her socks and pads after every game.
