Kit Check: Joely Andrews

Glentoran’s Joely Andrews takes on She Kicks’ Kit Check Q&A, discussing her football gear as the goalscoring midfielder helps the unbeaten Northern Ireland champions defend their league-and-cup double in the new Sports Direct Women’s Premiership season. The 22-year-old recalls her first pair of Adidas F50 boots (still kept as a memento), her current all-white Adidas Predators, and the socks she cuts and layers for club matches. She also shares memories of her first-ever shirt – a yellow Barcelona away kit – and the significance of her first Manchester United shirt and her original green-and-red Glentoran jersey, which she has kept from her earliest days with the east Belfast club.
