A Kit Check instalment from the SK Locker Room takeover with Jodie Bartle, who was working as a PE teacher until a whirlwind week in January when Celtic offered her the chance to sign as a professional footballer. The former Coventry United defender talks boots and kit: Nike Premier moulds in white and studs in yellow this season, a preference for the brightest yellow possible, and a first pair of grey and burgundy Pumas at about 16. She sticks to Nike Premiers or Tiempos because they suit her narrow heels, keeps about seven pairs of skate trainers, and cannot bring herself to throw out broken boots despite her father’s urging. She and her partner own around 80 football shirts collected on travels, a French Troyes shirt the latest, and she would kiss Sergio Ramos’ boots.
