She Kicks, issue 50, November 2018 p.28

Birmingham City skipper Kerys Harrop reports her side sitting joint top of the FA Women’s Super League with Arsenal, who have a game in hand, and hopes they will still be in the title race by her next column. She wishes Kim Little a speedy recovery from a leg break, calling her among the best players in the league and saying she wants to face the world’s best in the WSL. Harrop notes good wins over Everton, Brighton, Reading and Bristol achieved without scoring heavily, with defenders supplying most of the goals through Meaghan Sargeant’s two and Aoife Mannion’s 25-yard strike. She congratulates Bristol City’s Sophie Baggaley, a former Birmingham team-mate, on the FA WSL and first PFA Player of the Month awards, and Tanya Oxtoby on her manager’s award, while calling a 3-2 loss to Manchester City a blessing in disguise.
