Jill Roord – Manchester City & Netherlands

A single-page portrait poster of Manchester City and Netherlands midfielder Jill Roord, pictured celebrating in the club’s sky-blue home kit at Old Trafford. City signed the attacking midfielder from VfL Wolfsburg for a club-record fee in the summer of 2023, reuniting her with English football after an earlier spell at Arsenal and two trophy-laden years in Germany that included a domestic double and a Champions League final appearance. A vastly experienced international with more than 80 caps, Roord was part of the Netherlands side that won the 2017 European Championship and reached the 2019 World Cup final, and remains a mainstay of the Dutch midfield. The portrait adds Roord to this issue’s collection of pull-out player posters, giving fans a wall-ready image of one of the WSL’s most decorated attacking midfielders.
