Jackie Groenen, Manchester United and Netherlands (poster)

A two-page poster of Jackie Groenen, caught mid-air in the Manchester United home shirt with the ball at her feet and both arms out for balance, in a PA Images photograph. The vertical caption bills her as the Netherlands and Manchester United midfield maestro and gives her squad number, 14. Groenen had arrived at United the previous summer from Frankfurt after scoring the extra-time winner that put the Netherlands into the 2019 World Cup final, and the poster runs in the season she spent helping a newly promoted United establish itself in the WSL. It is the larger of the issue’s two poster pages, billed on the cover alongside the Erin Cuthbert poster.
