It Will Bring Out The Very Best: the Euro 2017 Draw and Full Fixture List

The Euro 2017 draw in Rotterdam put Scotland, at their first major finals, in Group D with England, Spain and Portugal. Anna Signeul, by some distance the longest-serving coach at the finals after eleven years, says playing England will bring out the very best in her players and their pride in the fixture; she recalls not knowing how big the rivalry was when she arrived in 2005 and learning at the 2011 Cyprus Cup, when goals from Kim Little and Jennifer Beattie ended a run of seventeen straight defeats. She wants at least the quarter-finals. Mark Sampson, absent awaiting the birth of his daughter, calculates two group wins and then four or five in a row.
