A two-page review of the November 2018 international window. England won 3-0 away to fellow Euro 2017 semi-finalists Austria at the BSFZ-Arena in Vienna, with debut goals for former USA Under-23 forward Chioma Ubogagu and Manchester City’s Georgia Stanway before Rachel Daly added a third; Toni Duggan captained a young side and Ellie Roebuck and Chloe Kelly also made first senior appearances. Four days later at Rotherham United, Steph Houghton was honoured for a 100th cap before Sweden won 2-0 through Sofia Jakobsson and Anna Anvegard. Scotland lost 1-0 to the USA in front of 3,790 at St Mirren, Alex Morgan volleying her eighteenth goal in nineteen internationals that year while Carli Lloyd struck the bar from the penalty spot. Phil Neville called the Sweden defeat a bump in the road.
