High Score! (SWPL Interview: Abi Harrison)

Glasgow City forward Abi Harrison, a multiple SWPL Golden Boot winner with Hibernian who went on to become Bristol City’s all-time leading scorer across six years in England, discusses returning home to Scotland after a brief unsettled spell back at childhood club Celtic. She talks candidly about missing family throughout her time in England, playing under Scotland legend and current Glasgow City head coach Leanne Ross, and the emotional weight of leaving Bristol City after six years spanning Covid, an ACL injury, relegation and promotion. Harrison reflects on her big personality in the dressing room, her Jamaican heritage through her grandfather, and her ambition to add league silverware to the cups she has already won in Scotland, while keeping the door open to a Scotland recall after making her SWPL debut at just 14.
