She Kicks, issue 31, November 2015 p.38

King’s College, Taunton underlined their standing as the leading independent school in England for girls’ football by winning the ISFA seven-a-side national tournament at Charterhouse School for a third consecutive year, scoring 34 goals across their matches without conceding once. The report runs through every result: 7-0 against St Swithuns with braces for Lucie Waddon and Elena Sistermann, 3-0 against Roedean, 7-0 against Forest School including a Kayane Alencar hat-trick, 4-0 against King Edward’s School, a 3-0 quarter-final, a 6-0 semi-final in which Grace Perkins scored three, and a 4-0 final win over Wycombe Abbey. Head of Football Chris Heayns calls it the best display he has seen at the event in six years. The piece also details the school’s link with Exeter City through its BTEC course, futsal competition, a University of Exeter programme and six girls in ISFA national squads.
