Great Scott! (Jill Scott Legends of Football)

An item on Jill Scott MBE receiving the 2025 Legends of Football award at London’s Grosvenor House in October, alongside fellow England great Gary Lineker OBE, in aid of the music therapy charity Nordoff and Robbins. The guest list included her UEFA Women’s EURO-winning Lionesses teammates Leah Williamson OBE, Lucy Bronze MBE and Keira Walsh. Scott, a former midfielder and EURO 2022 champion who won 161 caps and scored 26 goals for England, says she is thrilled to follow in the footsteps of former international teammates Fara Williams and Ellen White, both recognised in recent years. She praises the charity’s use of music therapy to transform the lives of people with life-limiting conditions, describing the impact she has seen as inspiring.
