Glory Jori to the Hibees

An interview with the American forward who joined Hibernian this summer, having previously played in the United States, Czechia, Germany and Portugal. Baucom, who scored a hat-trick in a 5-0 win over Aberdeen in September, describes adjusting from Arizona heat to Edinburgh weather and to accents she cannot always follow, and praises captain Joelle Murray’s welcome. She is candid that the past year or two have been as much a mental challenge as a physical one, and that playing abroad gave her a reset and a coaching staff who tell her to be confident and shoot. Off the pitch she is a self-described homebody: Call of Duty daily, anime, horror films and naps.
