Glasgow City FC, Ten Titles in a Row (full-page poster)

A full-page poster of Glasgow City FC marking a Scottish footballing record: in 2016 they became the first women’s side to win ten Scottish Women’s Premier League titles in a row. The caption calls them serious winners on the field and bags of fun off it, and the photograph is credited to Tommy Hughes. The tenth title was sealed with a three-one win over Hibernian on 23 October, goals from Sarah Crilly, Savannah McCarthy and Clare Shine, as reported in the previous issue. No individual player is identified on the page. Head coach Scott Booth reflects on the season, including two cup final defeats to the same Hibernian side, on page 46 of this issue.
