Georgia Stanway Poster

A full-page pull-out poster of the England midfielder in the white home shirt, running with the ball at an international, captioned with her name alongside the She Kicks and England marks. It sits at the front of the issue’s SK Locker Room section, between the Daphne van Domselaar interview and the Captain’s Chat slot, and belongs to the run of posters that made the magazine collectable: three in this issue alone. Stanway had left Manchester City for Bayern Munich that summer after a EURO-winning campaign in which she scored the extra-time winner against Spain in the quarter-final, and the poster catches her in the season that followed, still a fixture of Sarina Wiegman’s unbeaten side.
